Magnetic filter

Magnetic filters are useful wherever instrumentation needs to be protected from dirt and contamination. They trap and remove contaminants from systems such as industrial lubrication and cooling circuits. They are especially necessary where debris and sediment such as thread cutting chips and normal operation such as scale and residue from fretting wear can be carried along in the media. Contaminants such as these can form deposits which can cause pitting and corrosion in highly sensitive measurement and control devices. Regular maintenance and cleaning of magnetic filter inserts will ensure that the system and device do not fail and downtime does not occur.
